KZN Digital was born out of the belief that agencies & businesses can and must do digital better. Too many agencies lack a culture of continuous improvement, relying on inefficient processes, inflated prices due to bloated overheads, a lack of transparency, and missing the mark by focusing either on short-term performance or long-term branding — without understanding that a business needs both.

They often fail to immerse themselves in your business, assigning junior teams to manage accounts that need senior expertise, and view marketing in silos rather than as an interconnected ecosystem. KZN Digital was founded by James Duggan & Abby Hammett - with over 30 years experience in digital between them. Most recently they spent 7 years leading the digital capability for marketing agency Harvey Cameron and working with a wide variety of ANZ businesses such as Spa World, Spanbild, Heart Foundation, Victoria University, Hellers, Fletcher Living and Girl Guides NZ to name just a few!.

James started his digital career in London way back when Google Ads first started in the early 2000’s. Since then he has headed up digital marketing teams for consumer focused brands across the globe (UK, EMEA, ANZ).

He has vast digital marketing experience from both the client and agency side and specialises in aligning digital strategy to a businesses objectives across all areas of the digital ecosystem.
